IS PATRIOTISM A SOLUTION FOR THE PLIGHT OF PAKISTAN?

 

Patriotism is the fundamental element behind the sustainability of any nation. The public is the base of every country, and patriotism is about the public’s love for the country. In my opinion, Patriotism can be an efficient driver of solving problems because, as a folk wisdom says,” problems are not problems, they are only results of disunity,” so, they can be solved by contributing as a whole. The nation also argued that in Pakistan, patriotism has lost its true essence and is used as a tool for fulfilling the dark agendas of the state or military. It is also used for covering the evil deeds of the mafia by coloring them with religious sentiments. Evidence of his argument is the “Murder on the Orient Express”. Accordingly, if patriotism is used as a symbol of unity, Pakistan really can prosper. It can develop very well. So, let’s be united and make our beloved and priceless land a land of love, not chaos.
